Black Bear offers three unique styles of accommodations, and all are individually owned and tastefully decorated by the owner. Choose from inn suites, 2 bedroom pedestal cabins (5 different floor plans available), or deluxe pedestal homes with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths.
Inn Suites
A large one room suite with a dining area, private balcony or patio, fireplace, double Jacuzzi tub, mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Perfect for a quick getaway!
Pedestal Cabins
These two bedroom cabins sleep 4-6 people. There is a main bedroom with a queen bed and a loft bedroom with various bed styles. All of our pedestal cabins have fully equipped kitchens, washer and dryer, wood burning fireplaces with wood provided, and large decks – most with grills. All linens and towels are provided.
There are several floor plans to choose from:
Small Pedestal
A smaller floor plan (560 sq ft) with an efficiency kitchen and full bathroom. The loft bedroom is accessed by a ladder with a variety of bed styles.
Large Pedestal
Large floor plan (700 sq ft) with a full kitchen. The main bedroom offers a queen bed. There is a full bath, and the loft bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase with a variety of bed styles.
Large Pedestal with Jacuzzi
A large floor plan (700 sq ft) with a full kitchen. The main bedroom offers a queen bed. The full bath has a double Jacuzzi and the loft bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase. Some of our pedestal homes with Jacuzzis offer a main bath and a lower level spa room with a double Jacuzzi.
Specialty Pedestal
A large floor plan with 2 bathrooms. These units are newer and have a bathroom on the main floor as well as in the loft bedroom. The main bedroom offers a queen bed. The loft bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase, and the main bedroom offers a queen bed.
Deluxe Pedestal Homes
These homes were built in 2007 and are 1800 sq ft with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a den. They have a large open floor plan. There is a deluxe kitchen, dining and living area with a fireplace, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on the main level. The master suite has a full bath with a Jacuzzi in upper level and the lower level is a den/sleeping area with a bath and laundry area. The open great room is perfect for entertaining!
